Historical DVD Rot, or Not?

“DVD Rot”, a term used in media to indicate that DVD technology was self-destructive and thus very unstable, has been proven wrong by the industry. However, the industry has found that human handling of the technology poses a great risk to its longevity. This article discusses the DVD technology in detail as well as its proper handling and cleaning techniques. The article also includes a short interview with Rohan Byrnes on the topic.
