What is the best way to preserve digital
information?
There is no 'best way' to preserve digital information. In the absence
of a single standard or correct approach, however, some methods or combination
of methods may be utilised more than others. . The decision as to the most
appropriate strategy to use will depend on factors relevant to the particular
preservation situation and data type, and these may include costs, how long the
information is to be preserved, staff resources and risk management
considerations.

There are many ways to preserve digital information. The following
