Description: The Australian National Historic Shipwrecks Database (ANHSDB) is a project funded by the Commonwealth Government and each Australian State and the Northern Territory governments. The ANHSDB has come about through the Australian Institute for Maritime Archaeology (AIMA) coordinating the shipwreck information from each of the Australian States and the Northern Territory and developing one database which consists of 35 fields of potential information on all known Australian shipwrecks.
