Terms of Reference

The award aims to improve the quality of Australian audio book production, increase public awareness of books in this format and promote consumer access to a wide range of Australian audio books. The award is sponsored by TDK (Australia).

The role of the committee is to advise the Director-General on:

(a) the awards to be presented

(b) the conduct of the judging process

(c) other matters relating to the administration of the awards.

The National Library Collecting Advisory Committee provides the Library with:

(a) advice on its future collecting policy and delivery of information services based on the collections

(c) assistance with promoting its collections and collection policy.

Terms of Reference

The panel was established to assess Community Heritage Grant (CHG) applications against the criteria set out in the Guidelines for Applicants document.

The CHG assessment panel produces a list of recommended projects for funding which is submitted to the Director-General, National Library of Australia for consideration and approval.
