Terms of reference

The terms of reference of the Audit Committee are:

(a) to help the Library and members of the Council of the Library to comply with obligations under the proposed Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act;

(b) to provide a forum for communication between the members of the Council, senior managers of the Library and the Library’s internal and external auditors;

(c) to satisfy themselves that there is an appropriate ethical climate in the Library and review policies relating to internal controls and management of risks.
