DOHM Software Suite
DOHM software is a suite of programs useful in digital archiving. The list in the main window shows the recommended assignment of archiving functions to the action buttons.

When DOHM is configured it is possible to follow the logical archiving steps by clicking on the buttons next to numbers. The buttons activate programs that were assigned to them during setup.
DOHM suggested workflow |
Preparation 1. Create digitisation plan. Catalogue and prepare objects. Scan or photograph them including QPCard target. |
After capturing digital images (in RAW format) 7. Insert reference images and digital metadata into Digital Library software and create XML file with all metadata for the collection |
When DOHM runs for the very first time, the setup window opens automatically.
Setup

The setup window allows assignment of different programs to the action buttons. As a default the following programs are assigned to the buttons on the first run:
- Nomen Oblitum for file renaming
- DRIFTT for RAW conversion
- Checksumski for checksums creation and verification
- Backupski for collection backup and verification
It is possible to re-assign these buttons to other programs.
To assign a program, click on “Select Path” button and select an EXE or BAT file of the program.
The Setup Help button opens a window with links to some recommended software. Apart from the programs listed above, all other software must be installed separately.
