Access to Australian journals has been made easier by a new service launched by RMIT Publishing. Australian Public Affairs Full Text is a collaborative project developed by RMIT Publishing and Copyright Agency Ltd (CAL) in association with the National Library of Australia. The service provides scanned images from 120 journals indexed in the Australian Public Affairs Indexing Service (APAIS).
The National Library sees this as an important development in the delivery of Australian content to library users. Scanned images are provided by the National Library under licence from CAL to RMIT Publishing.
Australian Public Affairs Full Text is available via subscription as a
separate database through the Informit Online service. It includes acc1ess
to a special version of APAIS containing links to the full content.
Further information on the service can be found at
www.rmitpublishing.com.au.
