Library welcomes new ADG Corporate Services
Gerry Lineham recently joined the National Library as Assistant Director-General Corporate Services.
Born in Melbourne and relocating to Canberra in 1973, Gerry joined the Australian Public Service in 1979. He has an extensive background at the senior management level across the full range of corporate services, including experience in State/Territory and Federal Governments as well as in the academic sector. This includes nine years in a personnel environment, over ten years in financial areas and two years managing property, security, registry, information technology and performance information.
Gerry has joined us from the Department of Health and Aged Care where he spent the last fourteen months acting at a similar level. More recently, he worked on the Commonwealth/State National Public Health Partnership, managing associated population health information and directions, along with the Departments finances and associated reporting arrangements.
