![]() |
Moyra McAllister has joined the National Resource Sharing Working Group. Ms McAllister is the National Library Service Manager at Blake Dawson Waldron Lawyers, enabling her to bring a special library perspective to the Working Group. She has also worked in the parliamentary, university and public library sectors. She is a member of the Board of the Australian Library and Information Association and a member on its Copyright and Intellectual Property Advisory Group. She is also an active member in a variety of professional bodies. The National Resource Sharing Working Group was established by the National Library of Australia to ensure that a robust, reliable and cost-effective interlending system, built on cooperation and agreed service standards and policies, is in place to serve Australian libraries and their users. The Working Group receives strong support from peak industry bodies, the Council of Australian State Libraries, the Council of Australian University Librarians, the Australian Library and Information Association and the Australian Library Collections Task Force. Its membership is made of leading interlending practitioners from all library sectors. The Group has revised the Interlibrary Resource Sharing Code and
conducted the Interlibrary Loans and Document Supply Benchmarking
study, reported on elsewhere in this issue of Gateways. |
