Kinetica Welcomes Cheryl Brickell

Cheryl Brickell

Cheryl Brickell has been appointed in an acting capacity as the new director of Kinetica Customer Services, a position left vacant on the retirement of Bryony De La Motte.

Cheryl comes to Kinetica with a wide perspective to this position. She has been working in the library industry for approximately 30 years. Cheryl has worked in public, school and TAFE libraries, lectured in library schools and acted as a consultant on library services. Prior to joining Kinetica, Cheryl was Library Manager at Noosa Public Library. Readers of Gateways may remember reading about Cheryl in June 2001, when the Kinetica office announced that she would be chairing the 2001 Kinetica Annual Users Meeting.

Those who have had the pleasure of meeting Cheryl already will already know that Cheryl brings to the position much enthusiasm and a very strong customer focus. Cheryl intends to visit as many State Kinetica user group meetings as possible and she will be attending the Victorian Association for Library Automation (VALA) 2002 conference in February.
