Kinetica Document Delivery Payments Service—Saves You Time and Money
The Kinetica Document Delivery (KDD) Payments Service allows you to improve your interlibrary loan payment processes and is relatively inexpensive to use. The Service is cost effective and efficient as you don’t have to arrange payment for each individual request. Another advantage, is that you don’t need to record payments for items you have received or supplied. The system does that for you. It is easy to use, fully automated, flexible and you are provided with monthly reports.
Several surveys conducted this year on behalf of the Kinetica Advisory Committee illustrate the cost effectiveness of the KDD Payment Service. For just 35 cents per request, this Service manages the process for you. By comparison with other methods of payment such as cheque or invoices this system is significantly cheaper.
How does the Payments Service work? Once you join KDD Payments, you use the Kinetica Document Delivery System as usual. If you charge the Interlibrary Loan Resource Sharing Code fees you don’t need to do anything to the request. If you charge a different fee all you need to do is enter the details on the system. It’s that simple. Every two months you receive a cheque for items you have supplied and an invoice for items requested.
Since the Service was introduced the number of libraries choosing to use this payment method has increased to over 500 libraries. Consider joining this simple cost effective payment method now. It’s guaranteed to save you time and money.
