SUPPLY 1 Service

SUPPLY 1 is the National Library’s premier service for delivering copies of documents from anywhere in the world. This service draws on the international resources of libraries and commercial document suppliers. The major delivery systems we participate in include Kinetica Document Delivery (KDD), OCLC, RLIN, and the National Library of Medicine’s DOCLINE. We are also registered with the British Library Document Supply Centre and Subito, and order documents from a further variety of libraries and organisations around world. SUPPLY 1 service is efficient, reliable and economical.

Who uses SUPPLY 1?
The majority of SUPPLY 1 users are libraries, organisations and private businesses.

How do I use SUPPLY 1?
Simply send your request to SUPPLY 1 via
Email: supply1@nla.gov.au; Fax: (02) 6273 6451; online form, at <www.nla.gov.au/supply1> or through Kinetica Document Delivery, with a note ‘SUPPLY 1 PLEASE’.

What is the turnaround time and delivery method?
Average turnaround is two-to-seven days, depending on which corner of the planet we find the requested documents in.
A priority service for delivery within 48 hours is available on request. The turnaround time is not guaranteed.
The copies can be delivered to you via Ariel, email, fax, express post, or normal airmail.

What is the cost?
$A27.00 per copy. Plus $A6.60 for express post; $A3.30 for interstate fax.
