APS LEVEL 3/4 Library Positions Salary: $37 746 $45 678 Position Number: Several The National Library of Australia is a statutory authority within the Communications, Information Technology and the Arts portfolio. The Library serves the Australian people through the maintenance and development of a comprehensive reference collection and a rich collection of material related to Australians and Australia. The National Library of Australia invites applications from suitable qualified and/or experienced candidates for library positions, APS level 3/4, in its Collections Management Division. The successful applicants will join a multi-skilled team and may be required to focus on any combination of activities relating to the development and control of the Library’s collections. The occupants of these positions will be expected to set and achieve priorities, monitor workflows and exercise independent judgement. An appropriate degree or diploma together with training in librarianship which qualifies for admission to registration by the Australian Library and Information Associationor other study that the Director-General of the National Library of Australia recognises as appropriateis highly desirable.
