PictureAustralia recently released two new picture trails, on Social Dance and the Top End.

Social Dance
Follow our Social Dance trail and discover the styles and fashion of social dance in Australia from the 1880s to the present day.

From the ballroom to the nightclub, from the school social to the maypole, these images capture our exuberance in both formal and spontaneous expressions of dance.

Browse through PictureAustralia’s Social Dance trail at <<http://www.pictureaustralia.org/trails_dancing.html>.

Top End
The northern part of the Northern Territory is often referred to as Australia’s Top End.

The Top End trail explores the people, places, landscape and history of this fascinating area of the Northern Territory.

Images in the trail include examples of Aboriginal rock art, the natural wonder of Kakadu and damage caused by Cyclone Tracy.
