The National Library’s Director-General, Jan Fullerton,
was admitted as an Officer of the Order of Australia in June’s Queens
Birthday honours, in recognition of her contribution to the development
of wider community access to the National Library’s collections.
The award citation also paid credit to her role in the
preservation of cultural heritage in digital forms and her collaborative
efforts with other collecting agencies here and overseas.
