This is one of a series of 167 photographs forming the Canberra Life
Collection, featuring lifestyles of people in the national capital. The
photograph also appears in the recent National Library publication, A
Sporting Nation: Celebrating Australia's Sporting Life, which draws on
the Library's extensive collection of books, journals and newspapers,
along with its oral history, pictorial, manuscript and ephemera
collections, to celebrate Australia's sporting culture at both
professional and social levels.
