The
image is from a suite of original photographs acquired recently by the
National Library from Liz Dombrovskis, widow of the famous
environmentalist and wilderness photographer. Along with one of the
world’s great portrait photographers, Yousuf Karsh (1908-2002), and
Andre Disderi (1819-1890), Peter Dombrovskis was inducted into the
International Photography Hall of Fame, Oklahoma City in January 2003.
