- Historical societies, public libraries, indigenous and ethnic groups can apply for financial assistance to assist in preserving and managing their cultural heritage collections.
- Preserving Australia's Documentary Heritage: A Starter Kit for Community Groups (PDF file 699KB)
- The National Library of Australia has compiled this starter kit to assist community groups in managing and preserving their documentary collections. The kit can be downloaded and printed by following the link above.
- Multicultural Documentary Heritage Project
- This project, conducted by the Library from July 2003 to June 2004, assisted community organisations of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in looking after their collections of unpublished material. An easy to follow starter kit Preserving Australia's Multicultural Documentary Heritage is available for downloading.
- Tours
- Tours of the Library building can be tailored to specific requirements on request.
- Venue Hire
- There are a number of venues in the Library building that can be booked for corporate or private functions including the Ferguson Room, Conference Room, Theatre, bookplate restaurant and the foyer.
