EBSCO: Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre includes full text of leading Australian and New Zealand newspapers and periodicals, newswires and reference books. It includes over 80,000 full-text biographies and an Image Collection of over 502,000 photos, maps and flags. Also contains links to other Ebsco databases including MasterFILE Premier, Academic Search Complete and Consumer Health Complete. These databases are updated daily. Available for document delivery to Australian libraries.

State Library of New South Wales: The Australian Indigenous Index (previously INFOKOORI)is an index to the Koori Mail (http://www.koorimail.com/), a national fortnightly newspaper published in Lismore, NSW, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The first issue was 23 May 1991. It reports on people, issues and events that affect indigenous peoplesfrom all over Australia - from an indigenous perspective. The Index also includes biographical material on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from the magazines: Dawn (1952-1969), New Dawn 1970-1975), Our Aim (1907-1961) and Identity (1971-1982). Other historical information about Aboriginal people and communities from newspapers published in NSW, is also being added to the Index.

The Australian Periodical Publications 1840-1845 component of the Australian Cooperative Digitisation Project (ACDP) provides web access to digital copies of Australian serials first published between 1840 and 1845. Fiction published during the same period has also been digitised. These titles are available as searchable text from the University of Sydney's SETIS site at http://setis.library.usyd.edu.au/oztexts/acdp.html

Coverage of individual publications varies widely.

Sydney Dead Persons Society: The Ryerson Index is an index to death notices appearing in current Australian newspapers and includes some funeral notices, probate notices and obituaries. The index covers mostly New South Wales newspapers, although some newspapers from other States are included.

Australian National University: Database of harvested serialised fiction stories as they appeared in 19th and early 20th Century Australian newspapers. Compiled by Katherine Bode and Carol Hetherington the database is searchable by author, story title, newspaper title, and date. Transcripts of the stories are included as well as links to the original newspapers in Trove Digitised Newspapers.
