Highlights of the collection: The collection of the Clark family, numbering approximately 10,000 volumes. It mainly deals with Australian history, with some unique local histories and rare books and contains much of the material Manning Clark used in writing the famous multi-volume work, A History of Australia. The library is part of Manning Clark House, a lively, scholarly and cultural organisation based at the former Canberra home of Professor Manning Clark, Australia¿s best known historian, and his wife, Dymphna Clark.
