Terms and Conditions: 

1. To enter, participants need to upload a photograph of their completed ‘Alien Art’ artwork, the name of the artwork, and the first name and age of the child (the entrant), to the comments section of this post on the National Library of Australia's Facebook page by 5.00pm AEDT, Wednesday 7 October 2020.

2. The entrant must be between 4 and 11 years of age at time of entry, and each entrant is only permitted to submit one valid entry to the competition.

3. Employees of the National Library of Australia, and their immediate families, are not permitted to enter.

4. The prize pack consists of three NLA Publishing books, a copy of Super Nova and a handmade Super Nova cape. Only one prize pack will be given away.

5. The competition opens at 3.00pm Friday 2 October 2020, and closes 5.00pm AEDT, Wednesday 9 October 2020. Entries received before and after these times are not valid and will not be judged.

6. The entries will be judged, and the winner selected, by the National Library of Australia’s Education team on Thursday 8 October 2020.

7. The winner will be notified by direct Facebook message following judging, and will receive their prize-pack via post. The winner’s name, the name of their winning artwork and an image of the winning artwork will be published on the National Library of Australia's Facebook page and website (nla.gov.au) on Friday 9 October 2020.
