Celebrate Chinese New Year with 300 years of Chinese culture and tradition from two of the world’s great libraries in Celestial Empire: Life in China, 1644–1911, the Library’s exhibition.

Begin the Year of the Monkey with a range of fun activities for all the family including lantern-making, kite-flying, puppetry and cultural displays.

For all ages.

Why not pop in for lunch before the Family Day? Bookplate will be open from 9am till 4pm, and will have children's meal options on offer. Picnic will offer $12 lunches as well as a range of chinese inspired snacks.
