Announcing The 2016 Libraries Australia Forum

By Belinda Diehm | Published: October 4, 2016

Dear colleagues,

The 2016 Libraries Australia Forum is ‘going virtual’. Over November-January we are hosting a series of free webinars for Libraries Australia members.

Libraries Australia: The Summer Sessions will comprise keynote speakers (national and international) discussing library visibility on the web, linked data, and re-thinking resource sharing; alongside some more focused sessions on data management.

Each session will be scheduled at a time when Libraries Australia members across the country can come together (via WebEx) to listen to a presentation and share some Q&A at the end of the session.

Save the date for the keynote presentation from Ted Fons (Third Chapter Partners) who will be talking about his recent research on improving the visibility of libraries on the web.
• Thursday 10 November
o 9:00AM AWST (Perth)
o 11:30AM ACDT (Adelaide)
o 12:00NOON AEDT (Canberra)

Stay tuned for further details about all the sessions to come, and for booking information.

We look forward to meeting up with Libraries Australia members over the summer.
