Service changes

Service changes
27 July 2014

As of July 2014, the National Library made the following changes to Reading Room services:

Deliveries from the Library’s stacks will be Monday to Friday only.  Collection items can still be used on weekends but must be pre-ordered by 3.45 pm Friday each week.  Reserved items will now be held for seven days from the date of requesting.  Items ordered on a Monday will not be returned to stacks until the following Monday.  There will be no weekend stack delivery service from Saturday 5 July.

All Reading Rooms will be closed on all public holidays.  The exhibition galleries, Library bookshop and bookplate will remain open on all public holidays except for Christmas Day and Good Friday.

More detailed information about our opening hours and collection delivery times is available.
