NLA wins top awards

One of the National Library's most ambitious projects - to ensure that it can thrive in the digital space in the next 10 years - has been recognised with two top awards.

The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) last night named the Library's Digital Infrastructure Replacement Program (DLIR) as the national Project of the Year and the national ICT winner.

2018 Library Fellows announced

The recipients of the National Library's Fellowships for 2018 have been announced, revealing a wonderful range of fascinating research topics to be explored using the Library's vast collections.

From studies of the effects of extreme weather on health and emotions, to explorations of what life was like for women in the early days of communist Korea, this year's field proved to be truly diverse.
