The Library encourages the employment of Indigenous Australians by providing training and development opportunities and offering a supportive workplace. The Indigenous Graduate Program is a key component in employing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our work to build, manage and preserve collections for future generations, and ensure Australia's stories can be known and told into the future with respect and sensitivity.
