Celebrate the 200th anniversary of the publication of Louis de Freycinet’s map of Australia at the National Library on Sunday 19 June.

Presented by the Australia on the Map division of the Australasian Hydrographic Society, in association with the Embassy of France, the event will feature a number of speakers including Henry de Freycinet, the last male descendant of Louis de Freycinet, who published the first full map of Australia in 1811.
