One of the National Library's most ambitious projects - to ensure that it can thrive in the digital space in the next 10 years - has been recognised with two top awards.

The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) last night named the Library's Digital Infrastructure Replacement Program (DLIR) as the national Project of the Year and the national ICT winner.

The awards were made at the AIPM's national conference in Melbourne and were accepted by the Deputy Chair of the Library Council, Ms Jane Hemstritch, DLIR Program Director, Ms Kavinga Hubert, and Assistant Director-General, IT, Mr David Wong.
