The Library holds the world’s greatest collection of material relating to Australia and have developed our collections over time through many generous donations and bequests.
By supporting the Library we are able to develop and conserve our magnificent collections, including books, manuscripts, drawings, paintings, photography, maps, objects and oral history recordings.
We also aim to build relationships between the Library and diverse communities, creating greater awareness of the Library and its range of resources.
As well as building relationships with donors, foundations and corporate partners in support of conservation, digitisation, broadening access to the Library's collections, exhibitions and public programs.
Your contribution to the Library will make a significant difference to the work we do, and we are always very grateful for your support.
