MS 4985 Papers of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) Federal
Secretariat
The Federal Parliamentary Labor Party was formed in 1901. Archibald
Stewart was elected first Federal Secretary of the Australian Labor Party in
1915. It was not until 1963 that Cyril Wyndam was elected the first full-time
Federal Secretary.
