Partly restricted. Talks, speeches and cuttings in Boxes 1-3 are available for reference; correspondence is restricted. Most of Boxes 4-44 are restricted, except for Press Cuttings (Series 7), which are available for reference. Box 45 is available for reference. Boxes 46-56 are restricted, with the exception of Series 8/Folders 45-46 (in Boxes 48-49), which are closed for 75 years because they contain patient records.

Provenance

Papers and publications relating to the development of the Bionic Ear, or cochlear implant, have been donated by Professor Clark in several instalments. These have been added to the Manuscript Collection or the Australian Printed Collection as appropriate. A Summary of Instalments received are listed in Appendix 1 below.
