During your visit, please follow precautions we have put in place to protect you, other visitors and our staff. Please stay home if you’re unwell, required to self-isolate, or direct to quarantine.
For the most up-to-date guidance on COVID-19 restrictions in the ACT, please visit the ACT Government COVID-19 website. The National Library will update its guidelines based on the current government advice.
When you’re in the Library, please practice physical distancing and use cashless payment options.
Checking in via the Check In CBR app is no longer mandatory, but we will continue to display QR codes for voluntary use for visitors.
The Library has taken active steps to review and adjust the air conditioning system to maximise the intake of fresh air.
All hard surfaces in the Library are cleaned daily and high touch points will be cleaned throughout the day.
There are also hand hygiene facilities available at the entrance to the Library, the Reading Rooms and in other key locations. Sanitising wipes are also available for the public to use in the locker areas and in the Reading Rooms.
