Copiers and printers
You can use your Library card to print, photocopy and scan in the reading rooms.
Add value to your card at the card kiosks in the Main Reading Room, Newspapers and Family History Zone or Special Collections Reading Room. The kiosks accept EFTPOS and credit card payments only. Disposable Printing and Photocopying cards may be purchased from the Library Bookshop for cash during opening hours.
Please ask staff about digital photography.
You are requested to store food, large bags, coats, umbrellas and other large objects in our free self-service lockers located on Lower Ground 1 (LG1).
Please do not leave personal possessions or bags unattended in the reading rooms and other public areas of the Library. For the safety of our patrons unattended items may be inspected and removed by authorised officers of the Library.
Automated Teller Machine
The nearest ATM, which accepts most cards, is located at Coffers Cafe in the Treasury building across King Edward Terrace. This ATM is available Monday – Friday, during business hours. ATMs are also available at the National Gallery of Australia and the National Portrait Gallery.
Enquiries about any item of lost property can be directed to the Foyer Information Desk.
