Anthony White is an Australian artist who lives and works in Paris, France. Since graduating from the National Art School, Sydney, White has produced international exhibitions for galleries based primarily in Australia and in Hong Kong, London and France.

As Creative Arts Fellow at the National Library, White has investigated material from the Sidney Nolan collection related to the creation of the Eureka Stockade mural commissioned by the Reserve Bank. This research will inform a new body of abstract paintings that incorporate painterly interventions and collage for exhibition.

Book now to hear White speak about the project being undertaken and the research findings.

On the evening, for those who wish to meet for refreshments prior to the event, Bookplate cafe will remain open until the event starts at 5.30pm.

For those unable to make it to Canberra for the event, it will be livestreamed online via the Library's Facebook page. No bookings are required to watch the online stream.

Anthony White is a 2020 Creative Arts Fellow supported by the Friends of the National Library.
