NLA Publishing Teachers' Notes
As part of the National Library of Australia, NLA Publishing has been producing books since 1995. Collaborating with Australia’s leading writers, designers and illustrators, NLA Publishing produces over 20 publications a year, including an award-winning range of popular and children’s illustrated books. Publications produced by the Library contribute to the organisation’s aims of nourishing the nation’s memory, of supporting the vitality of Australian culture and heritage, and of demonstrating a strong national focus in our services, products and programs.
All children's books published by the NLA are accompanied by comprehensive teachers' notes that link topics and themes in the book to the Australian Curriculum across all relevant year levels. Additionally, the teacher’s notes include some ideas for inquiry questioning, class discussions, and activities.
