Current cemeteries and crematoria

Details of current cemeteries, crematoria and memorial gardens in Western Australia can be located in several ways. These include:

  • Search of municipality, shire or town council websites eg: A search for 'shire' and 'kalgoorlie' in Google reveals the entry for City of Kalgoorlie - Boulder. A browse of the City of Kalgoorlie - Boulder website reveals NO obvious listing for cemeteries nor does a search of the council's website provide any further information than the name of a councillor who sits on the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Cemetery Board and the contact phone number for the Board.
  • Alternatively you can locate an up-to-date list and links to WA Council Websites via the WA Local Government Association (WALGA) website.

NB: Not all local governments or councils use the same navigation method or have the means to provide an online searching facility but their websites are always worth a look if their area of jurisdiction is where your burials of interest are located.

Perth cemeteries and crematoria

The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board maintains six cemetery and memorial garden sites around Perth. A Search facility is provided covering all seven locations.
